Life Journal is a personal media journaling application operated by AiManic Ltd ("AiManic", "we", "us", or "our"). The service allows users to upload photographs and videos, generate AI-written summaries and descriptions, produce AI-generated images, and organise personal memories into a private digital journal.
Access to the service is provided subject to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the service. By registering you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your login details with any third party. You agree to notify AiManic immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
All activity that occurs under your account is your sole responsibility. AiManic is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your credentials.
You retain ownership of all photographs, videos, and other content you upload to Life Journal ("User Content"). By uploading content you grant AiManic a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload. You warrant that:
Life Journal provides a facility to generate images using artificial intelligence ("AI-Generated Content"). By using this feature you acknowledge and agree that:

AiManic reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend, restrict, or permanently delete any account that is found or suspected to be in violation of these Terms & Conditions, including but not limited to:
Upon termination, your account and all associated content may be permanently deleted without recovery. AiManic is not liable for any loss resulting from account suspension or termination.
AiManic takes the security and privacy of your personal data seriously and will implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your account and information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. AiManic cannot guarantee absolute security and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, shall not be liable for any unauthorised access to or disclosure of your data that results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will never sell your personal data to third parties. Data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Certain features of Life Journal require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. All prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes.
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via the Manage Subscription portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Monthly subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions are billed on a month-to-month basis. Payments for the current billing month are non-refundable and no credit is issued for unused days within a monthly billing period.
Annual subscriptions: If you cancel an annual subscription, you are entitled to a refund for any remaining complete calendar months left in your subscription year at the time of cancellation. Partial months are not refunded. To request a refund on an annual subscription please contact us at [email protected].
Refunds will not be issued where a subscription has been suspended or terminated due to a breach of these Terms. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
AiManic reserves the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
All software, design, branding, and content forming part of the Life Journal service (excluding User Content) is the intellectual property of AiManic Ltd and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our express written permission.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. AiManic does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AiManic disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AiManic LTD, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
In no event shall AiManic's total aggregate liability to you exceed the amount paid by you to AiManic in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
